The Controls module provides a flexible environment for managing internal and external controls, security tests and other verification activities. It enables you to record the course of each control, its results and findings, and subsequently manage related activities and tasks.
Unlike a formal audit, the module can also be used for control and testing processes with individually defined procedures. The organisation can configure the type of control, individual steps, how results are recorded and subsequent activities according to its needs.
The results of controls and security tests are linked to other processes within WebArat and can also serve as inputs to risk analysis. Identified findings therefore provide a basis for further evaluation, corrective actions and continuous improvement of the organisation’s security posture.
